June Spotlight

Honoring Our Rising Stars

This month, we’re beaming with pride as we spotlight the incredible accomplishments of our younger generation. From walking across graduation stages to stepping into leadership roles in the military, our family continues to grow, achieve, and inspire. These aren’t just milestones—they’re the beginning of bold new chapters.

🎒 Elementary School Graduates: The Class of Curiosity

Let’s give a huge round of applause to our littlest graduates who’ve wrapped up elementary school with bright minds and even brighter smiles! Whether they mastered multiplication, memorized the states, or became class spelling bee champs, they’ve proven they’re ready for middle school adventures.

You’re growing fast, asking big questions, and stepping into the world with confidence—and we couldn’t be prouder. Keep that curiosity alive. The best is yet to come!

Conner Lee graduated on Friday, May 23, from Freedom Prep Elementary at 9:00 AM sharp, smiling all the way across the stage. This fall, he’ll continue his academic journey at Memphis School of Excellence for the 2025–2026 school year. We’re so proud of his achievements—and even more excited about what’s next!

Landon Johns also celebrated a major milestone, graduating from the 5th grade at River Eves Elementary School on May 22. In the fall, he’ll be leveling up to Holcomb Bridge Middle School. Middle school, watch out—Landon is coming with brains, charm, and plenty of heart!

🎓 High School Graduate: Walking in Excellence

Let’s give a big round of applause to Bailei Pearson, who graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, on May 20, 2025. Bailei is headed straight into greatness as she begins her studies at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU)—ranked the #1 public HBCU in the country—starting the summer semester on June 19. Her chosen major? Cell and Bio Process Engineering. Brains, brilliance, and Black girl magic at its finest!

🎖️ Military Promotion: Saluting Strength and Dedication

We’re sending a proud and heartfelt salute to Sergeant Brian Heard, Jr., who was recently promoted and is currently stationed in Japan. (That’s right—Japan!) He’s just two weeks into his six-month post, and we know he’s serving with the same excellence and honor that defines this family. Brian, we’re proud of you, and we’re praying for your continued safety and success.
